Josie will make a great pony for an experienced bigger kid/small adult. She is very athletic and quick—hence our reason for selling. She is too much for our very green rider grandson. She was started and trained by a gal who went through the University of MT Western horsemanship program and has all the foundation work done. She is 6 years old, 13 hands, picks up all 4 feet, stands quietly for saddling, loads and unloads easily, crosses water, mud and logs and in the arena lopes nice circles, side passes, opens gates, stops and backs. She has a scar on her left front shoulder and in the cinch area under her belly, neither of which affect her at all. She may be smaller, but she is mighty and extremely well broke.
